I was just thinking as I flipped through the many pages of iphone apps I have on my desktop, 1. I need to clean these up, and 2. I use some useful, yet obscure apps, why not share them with the Flavor community! OK, so here we go....drum roll please! :) 1. Around Me - Sweet little app that can be used by accepting the geo-location request, it then finds anything you want to find in your viciinity. Great app if your not on your side of town and need to find your bank or your favorite grocery store. Handy tool! |

I live in an area where people are commuting, traveling, and in areas they aren't familiar with, so to help them out, Here's a nice list of some useful iphone apps for the business traveler.Since we all know time = money, let's get straight to it... 1. ATM Hunter (Best App for Finding a Bank Machine) Caught without cash? ATM Hunter shows you the closest place to make a withdrawal. Use your iPhone’s GPS to list the bank machines closest to your current location, or enter any address or airport code. Search results let you know the setting for each ATM (gas station, bank, store, and so on). If you’re looking for a specific bank or business, you can specify that in your search. The app works anywhere in the world, handy for travelers. |

Aren't we all always trying to get somewhere? Lately I have had to keep on the move, (in a good way), of course, I just moved to a new area and the locator style apps that are available in the itunes store have been worth their FREE weight in gold. I have been doing a little bit of research on these apps and think I have found a few of the best ones currently available. 1. Sin Finder - This app is also $1.99, but its the 1st of its kind. Its a great app for an ADULT....finally. Plus its all in one, this app has great potential if the developer continues to make this a success. http://sinfinderapp.com or http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sin-finder/id345125126?mt=8 |

http://www.iphonestalk.com/app-store-100000-approved-apps-mark-passed-6068/ Wow that is amazing, in just about 2 years there are 100,000 and counting applications in the itunes store. I think its time for the developer business entreprenuer to figure out a way for us to either sift through these better, maybe a more complex categorizing is in order....or maybe apps that offer more in the app instead of 100 locator apps for every business....or how about more sites dedicated to applications, I like the site www.appstorehq.com, they have some great reviews and are always keeping new apps flowing on their homepage, great site, definitely worth checking out. I also use an app on the iphone called AppSniper, its .99, but well worth it, how cool is it to snipe apps, you never know when a seller/developer will put his app on sale, be notified....or how about being able to sift through the latest paid and free apps, sorted by days, back 2 days...or the newest apps just released, alot of times developers give it away the 1st weekend its released, get apps free that may have cost you $10.... Thanks for reading! |
